Interior Light Test 2B - Courtesy Lights Inoperative With Any Door

NOTE: Perform INTERIOR LIGHT TEST 2A  before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  . For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE  .
CAUTION: Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.

Stop courtesy light actuation. Open driver's door. Using scan tool, read left front door ajar switch status. If scan tool displays DRDOOR AJAR: CLOSED, replace Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is located with junction block under driver's side instrument panel. See Figure . If scan tool does not display DRDOOR AJAR: CLOSED, go to INTERIOR LIGHT TEST 3A.
