Test B: Registering Ignition Key Impossible

Check for immobilizer-ECU DTCs. See RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. If DTC 11 is set, perform DTC 11: TRANSPONDER COMMUNICATION SYSTEM OR RADIO INTERFERENCE OF ENCRYPTED CODE  procedure under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. If DTC 11 is not set, replace ignition key that can not be registered. Re-register encrypted code. See KEY ID REGISTRATION  under PROGRAMMING. If new key can not be registered, replace immobilizer-ECU. See IMMOBILIZER-ECU  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
