DTC P0603: Internal Control Module Keep Alive Memory (KAM) Error

P0603 - INTERNAL CONTROL MODULE KEEP ALIVE MEMORY (KAM) ERROR

Description:  Indicates the powertrain control module (PCM) has experienced an internal memory concern. However, there are external items that can cause this DTC.
Possible Causes: 
  • Reprogramming
  • Battery terminal corrosion
  • Keep alive power (KAPWR) circuit to PCM concern
  • Incorrect battery connection
  • Damaged PCM
Diagnostic Aids:  If KAPWR is interrupted to the PCM because of a battery or PCM disconnect, a DTC can be generated on the first power-up.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST QB .
