Reading ABS/TCS Diagnostic Trouble Codes
- Follow steps in RETRIEVING ABS/TCS DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES . Determine DTC by counting number of times SLIP indicator light flashes. Up to 3 codes can be stored at a time, with the most recent code displayed first.
- SLIP indicator light will first flash DTC 12, which is the start code. DTC 12 will be displayed as one long flash then two short flashes. See Fig 1 . After all other DTCs are displayed, DTC 12 will again be displayed and other DTCs stored in memory will be repeated.
