Climate Control Housing: Disassembly

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Remove the climate control housing. Refer to: Climate Control Housing .
Air Inlet Housing
Open the cabin air filter access door.

Remove the cabin air filter.

NOTE: Tabs can be easily damaged, use care when releasing.

Remove the screws, release the tabs and remove the air inlet housing.

Air Distribution Housing
1. Remove the climate control housing seal.
2. Remove the retainers and the heater core tubes shroud.
3. Remove the retainers and the evaporator shroud.
4. Remove the evaporator tubes cover.

Remove the retainers and clips to remove the evaporator cover (Upper Heater Core Housing)*.

1. Remove the electrical connector mounting retainer.
2. Remove the evaporator assembly.

Remove the screws, release the clips and remove the air distribution housing.

Heater Core Housing
Remove the screws and the blower motor control module.
