Power Door Lock Test 15B - All Doors Fail To Lock & Unlock From Any Switch
NOTE:
Perform POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 15A
before proceeding with this test. For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION
. For wiring diagrams, refer to WIRING DIAGRAMS
. Perform, after each repair, VERIFICATION TEST VER-1A - VERIFICATION PROCEDURE

CAUTION:
Always turn ignition switch to OFF position prior to disconnecting or connecting any module connector.
- Disconnect Body Control Module (BCM) connector "B". BCM is located with junction block under driver's side instrument panel. See Figure . Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, measure voltage at terminal No. 45 (White/Dark Green wire) on connector "B". If voltage is more than .5 volt, repair White/Dark Green wire for short to battery voltage. If voltage is .5 volt or less, go to next step.
- Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, measure resistance at terminal No. 45 (White/Dark Green wire) on connector "B". Hold driver's door lock switch in unlock position and observe resistance value. If resistance is 300 ohms or greater, replace door lock switch and repeat POWER DOOR LOCK TEST 1A . If resistance is less than 300 ohms, go to next step.
- Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, measure voltage at terminal No. 55 (White/Light Green wire) on BCM connector "B". If voltage is more than .5 volt, repair White/Light Green wire for short to battery voltage. If voltage is .5 volt or less, go to next step.
- Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, measure voltage at terminal No. 44 (White/Red wire) on BCM connector "B". If voltage is more than .5 volt, repair White/Red wire for short to battery voltage. If voltage is .5 volt or less, replace BCM.
