Installation Procedure

  1. Generator Control Module (2) - Install
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Generator Control Module Mounting Nut (1) - Install and tighten (Qty: 4) to 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  3. Generator Control Module Coolant Outlet Hose (2) @ Generator Control Module - Engage - Generator Control Module Coolant Outlet Hose Replacement (Starter Generator to Generator Control Module L8B)

  5. Battery Positive Junction Block Cable (4) - Install
  6. Battery Positive Junction Block Cable Nut (2) - Install and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  7. Battery Distribution Engine Compartment Fuse Block Nut (3) - Install and tighten to 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  8. Fuse Block Cover (1) - Install

  9. High Voltage Battery Pack Positive Cable Connector (2) - Connect
  10. Starter Generator High Voltage Cable Connector (3) - Connect
  11. Electrical Connector (4) - Connect
  12. Ground Terminal Fastener (1) - Install and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  13. Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace (3) - Install
  14. Retainer Clip (2) - Engage
  15. Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Bolt (1) - Install and tighten (Qty: 2) to 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
  16. Enable the high voltage system. High Voltage Enabling
