1) Battery charge 12 V
Vehicles of MY 2017- and in transport mode: 
- XC60 (18-) / XC90 / S90 / V90 / V60 (19-) / S60 (19-) / Polestar 1 / XC40: 
> Open the driver door.
> Depress the hazard button 1-2 s and wait for DIM to start.
> Look for "Battery charge needed" or "Battery charge OK" and charge if needed.
- XC60 (-17) / V40 / V60 (-18) / S60 (-18): 
> Open the driver door.
> Depress the brake pedal.
> Wait for DIM to start.
> If the battery symbol is ON, charge the battery.
- Vehicles of MY -2016 and in transport mode: 
> Charge the battery.
2) PHEV vehicles: Check SOC / Charge high voltage battery
> Check the state of charge (SOC) for the high voltage battery in DIM. If the status is below 1 bar, charge to between 3 and 6 bars.
3) Check Rapgard™ (brake protection)
> If the brake protection is broken, remove it before transport.
4) Check exterior cleanliness
> Wash if necessary.
> Check for damages and repair if necessary.
5) Check tire pressure
> Set the tire pressure to 330±20 kPa, 48±3 PSI.
6) Check interior components
> Check for heat related failures and cleanliness among the interior components.
7) Check interior protections
> Check the positions of the interior protections.
> Correct the positions if required.
8) Remove Rapgard™ (brake protection)
> Ensure that the vehicle is washed if needed.
9) Change engine oil and filter
> Exchange the engine oil and replace the oil filter.
> When finished, reset the service reminder indicator.
10) Disc brake rust cleaning
> Drive the vehicle 0.3 km / 0.2 miles at low speed.
> Depress the brake pedal five times (5 s per application).
11) Remove vehicle cover
> If applicable, remove the vehicle cover.
11) Tape remove
> After 180 days, remove the tape from the inner front sill moulding at the driver side.
