Transmission Control Module (TCM)

NOTE:

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

NOTE:

Make sure that the selector lever is in the neutral (N) position.

Remove the following items:

CAUTION:

Make sure that the terminals or pins/sockets of the transmission control module (TCM) and the connectors are not bent or damaged.

Tighten, gear selector mechanism (nut). TIGHTENING TORQUE

NOTE:

Make sure that the installation marks are aligned.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Order software for the control module: 9438291 .

Calibrate the transmission range sensor. See: VIDA (Volvo scan tool) vehicle information, function group 4.
