Engine Speed (Rpm)

The engine control module (ECM) transmits engine speed on the CAN network. The transmission control module (TCM) retrieves the signal from the CAN network and compares it to the signal from its RPM sensor (input RPM).

The value indicates the engine speed (RPM).
