Handling Non-Deployed Pyrotechnical Part [2014-2016]: Storing

WARNING:

When temporarily storing the driver's airbag (SRS), it must always be positioned with the metal side (reverse side) down in a well protected site.

NOTE:

For longer storage periods (unattended storage) all pyrotechnical components must be stored in the original packaging at a dedicated site.

WARNING:

In the event of a fire at the storage site, the fire authorities must be informed about the presence of pyrotechnical components according to the relevant national statutory requirements.

NOTE:

Loose side air curtains are always to be stored in IC brackets or other approved packaging.

NOTE:

Pyrotechnical components must not be subjected to temperatures above 110°C.
