Climate Control System, Check

Close the hood, doors and door windows.

Start the engine. The engine speed must be approximately 1500 RPM.

Set the climate control system controls as follows: 

• the temperature control switch to maximum cooling
• the air distribution selector to the "Ventilation" position
• the recirculation button to "On"
• the A/C button to "On"
• the blower fan speed switch to 50%.

Allow the system to stabilize itself for at least eight minutes.

Position the thermometer at the center dashboard vents.
