Description

A software package has been developed to correct several symptoms the MY 2008 vehicles listed above. The table below describes the symptoms and corrections included in the SW package.

Abbreviations:

DDM: Driver Door Module

PDM: Passenger Door Module

REM: Rear Electronic Module

CCM: Climate Control Module

Power seat and mirror memory with remote key (REM)	The Power seat and mirror memory for remote key may be lost under the following conditions: Car locked and in sleep mode. Unlock with remote. Open trunk or rear door >30 sec after unlock. Open driver door (after >30 sec).	SW bug corrected
Power folding mirrors (DDM /PDM)	Power folding mirrors may not operate below 32'F (0'C)	SW bug corrected, folding mirror operation OK down to 5 'F (-15'C)
Climate system (CCM)	Possibility of temperature differences between left and right side in passenger compartment	SW bug corrected

Service

If the vehicle is within the Model Year and chassis limitations above and there is a documented customer complaint referencing one or more of the above symptoms, perform the following SW upgrade.

If you receive a message during the SW ordering procedure "HW already contains the latest SW " no further action is necessary
