Rear Measurement

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Volvo S80, 2003 Volvo S80, 2002 Volvo S80, 2001 Volvo S80, and 2000 Volvo S80. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Check for play in the wheel bearings, the lateral link bushings and the control arm bushings. Set up and calibrate the test equipment being used. The car must be on a flat surface with the wheels on moveable plates.
  2. Check camber angle. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS  . Rear camber is not adjustable. If the rear camber angle is not within specifications, replace the faulty or damaged component.
