Output signals ECC/MCC/STD

Certain components are directly connected to the Climate control module and others are connected to other control modules in the network. The Electronic climate control (ECC) and Manual climate control (MCC) output signals differ only in that the ECC has one shutter motor more. Standard (STD) has the same signals as the Manual climate control (MCC) except for those signals controlling the compressor. The following output signals are sent from the Climate control module regardless of the type of climate control system:

Blower fan speed via the power unit with the following functions:

Recirculation and fresh air shutters opening.

Left side temperature switch control.

Right side temperature switch control.

Ventilation and floor shutter control. (On the Manual climate control(MCC)/Standard (STD) the motor also controls the defroster shutter.

Information to the combined instrument panel display via Driver information module (DIM).

Signals to VIDA via data link connector (DLC).
