HU-631 has a cassette player, HU-831 has a MD player with the functions of the CD player.

Dolby Pro Logic integrated in HU-831.

The sound source is selected by turning the SOURCE knob. The selected source is shown in the display.

AUTO button has a new function. Search carried out if the last used station does not give good reception.

SCAN function for station search. SCAN means that the search stops for 10 seconds when a station is found and continues searching if the station is not selected by pressing SCAN again.
