Model Specific Functions

The sound source is selected by turning the SOURCE knob. The selected source is shown in the display. The steering wheel keypad also has a SCAN function for searching stations (HU-601) or CD random for the CD changer (HU-401). SCAN means that the search stops for 10 seconds when a station is found and continues searching if the station is not selected by pressing SCAN again.

Diversity function.

News function interrupts the selected sound source with news broadcasts. The program type function gives the possibility of allowing the radio to search for stations of a selected program type. PTY function covers both search and priority (previously two functions).

Traffic information function interrupts the selected sound source with broadcast traffic information.

Automatic volume setting when receiving traffic information, news and PTY priority.

AUTO button has a new function. Search carried out if the last used station does not give good reception.
