Diagnostic Procedure

DTC does not occur on its own. Read out fault memory for combined instrument panel. The instrument panel contains the CAN and Driver Information Module (CDM). Diagnose DTCs as necessary. ECM-E000 should disappear when no other instrument panel related DTCs are present. If fault remains, replace ECM (PCM). See REMOVAL, OVERHAUL & INSTALLATION - EXCEPT S40 & V40 article.
