Sealing Cover

Check that cover mating surface is level. Wipe cleaned mating surfaces on cover and transmission. Use denatured alcohol.

NOTE: Ensure that no dirt gets into the transmission.

Apply an approx. 3 mm thick bead of sealant (P/N 1161409-6) to the cover. See Fig 1 . Apply sealant around screw holes.
