Replacing Components

The ignition must be switched off when replacing electrical components. In certain circumstances, the battery must also be disconnected.

CAUTION:

Radios with microprocessors. The radio must be switched off before the battery negative lead is disconnected. This is to prevent damage to the micro-processors in the radio.
