Repair Procedure

Transport fuse can be set to disable deployment of ROPS roll bars. Disabling must be performed using Scan Tool (VCT 2000).

  1. Connect scan tool to DLC. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS  . Select appropriate mode on scan tool to disable ROPS. See scan tool manufacturer's instructions. Go to next step.
  2. Verify that transport fuse had been deactivated. Scan tool will indicate TRANSP. FUSE. If scan tool displays proper reading, fault has been repaired. If scan tool does not display proper reading, fault is still present.
