Mass Airflow Meter (740 Turbo & 760 Turbo)

  1. Remove rubber sleeve from mass airflow meter to uncover wire connector. Connect voltmeter leads between ground and airflow meter connector terminal No. 5 (Blue/Yellow wire).
  2. Voltmeter should read battery voltage. Connect voltmeter between terminal No. 5 (Blue/Yellow wire) and terminal No. 1 (Brown wire). Voltmeter should again read battery voltage.
  3. Connect ohmmeter leads to airflow meter connector terminal No. 2 (Blue/Green wire) and terminal No. 3 (Blue/Red wire). Ohmmeter should read approximately 3.7 ohms.
  4. Connect ohmmeter between terminal No. 2 (Blue/Green wire) and terminal No. 6. Ohmmeter should read 0-1000 ohms.
