Heating And Air Conditioning Control Module J979, Removing And Installing: Removing

If the Heating and Air Conditioning Control Module -J979- is being replaced:

-- Perform the "Control module, replacing" function using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester. Refer to Diagnostic Entries .

-- Remove the glove compartment lid. Refer to GLOVE COMPARTMENT LID, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Disconnect the connectors -3-.

-- Use a commercially available plastic wedge to release the securing tab -arrow- from the bracket -2-.

-- Remove the Heating and Air Conditioning Control Module -J979-.
