NOTE:

Disconnect the battery ground cable when working on the gearshift mechanism inside the engine compartment. Refer to BATTERY, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING .

Gearshift mechanism, removing and installing. Refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
