Test Step 2 - Liftgate Release Switch Stuck

• Disconnect the switch bank 2 harness connector.
• Erase DTCs.
• Turn the ignition OFF, wait 10 seconds, then turn the ignition ON.
• With the scan tool, check for DTCs.

Does the scan tool display B18E5 - Power Liftgate Front Zone Switch Stuck?

Yes

• Go to Test Step 3 Test Step 3 - Liftgate Switch Sense Circuit Short to Ground 

No

• Replace the switch bank assembly. Refer to POWER LIFTGATE SWITCH, D-PILLAR .
• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
