Stop Lamp Switch Removal And Installation/Replacement And Adjustment

Removal Procedure: 

1. Remove driver knee airbag module. Refer to DRIVER KNEE AIRBAG MODULE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

2. Remove Screw (1).

   Torque: 5 Nm 

3. Remove the footwell duct (1) in the direction of the arrow (1).

4. Unlock and disconnect the electrical Connector (1).

5. Press and hold the brake pedal.
6. Press the latches (arrows) together and remove the brake pedal light switch (1) out of the holder.

Installation Procedure:

Installation note: Press and hold the brake pedal. Carefully press the brake light switch (1) as far as it will go and then slowly release the brake pedal. 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 
2. Install driver knee airbag module. Refer to DRIVER KNEE AIRBAG MODULE REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
