Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Rod Removal And Installation/Replacement

Removal Procedure: 

1. Ensure that the window is completely closed.
2. Disconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
3. Remove front side door water deflector. Refer to FRONT SIDE DOOR WATER DEFLECTOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

4. Twist clip (1) in arrow direction and detach Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Rod (2)

5. Remove the Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Rod (1) from the door latch in the direction of the arrow.

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.

   All fasteners must be tightened to torque specification! 

2. Install front side door water deflector. Refer to FRONT SIDE DOOR WATER DEFLECTOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Reconnect the 12V battery negative terminal. Refer to 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION
