Installation [09/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL DRYER ASSEMBLY

      1. Install a new O-ring to the height control compressor assembly and coat it with MP grease.
      2. Install the height control dryer assembly with the bolt.

        Torque: 6.4 N.m (65 kgf/cm, 57 in.lbf) 

  2. INSTALL NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR BUSHING

      Upper Side - -
      1. Install the 3 No. 1 height control compressor bushings as shown in the illustration.
  3. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY 

    Torque: 5.9 N.m (60 kgf/cm, 52 in.lbf) 

  4. INSTALL NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE CLAMP 
  5. INSTALL NO. 2 HEIGHT CONTROL TUBE

      1. Install the No. 2 height control tube.

        Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2022 - ]

        HINT: 

        For the connection procedure of the tube (type 2), refer to Precaution of the Suspension Control System section.

      2. Attach the clamp.
  6. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL FILTER 

    Torque: 6.4 N.m (65 kgf/cm, 57 in.lbf) 

  7. INSTALL NO. 1 HEIGHT CONTROL HOSE

      *a 0.0 to 3.0 mm (0 to 0.118 in.) *b 0.0 to 7.0 mm (0 to 0.276 in.)
      *c 0.0 to 6.0 mm (0 to 0.236 in.) *d 0.0 to 2.0 mm (0 to 0.0787 in.)
      1. Install the No. 1 height control hose with 2 new clips as shown in the illustration.
  8. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR WITH BRACKET

      1. Attach the 2 hooks and install the height control compressor with bracket with the 3 bolts.

        Torque: 29 N.m (296 kgf/cm, 21 ft.lbf)

      1. Attach the clamp.
      2. Connect the 2 connectors.

      1. Connect the No. 2 height control tube.

        Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2022 - ]

        HINT: 

        For the connection procedure of the tube (type 2), refer to Precaution of the Suspension Control System section.

  9. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL HOSE ASSEMBLY

      *a 0.0 to 2.0 mm (0 to 0.0787 in.) *b Paint Mark
      *c Front Side *d RH Side
      1. Connect the height control hose assembly with a new clip as shown in the illustration.
      2. Attach the clamp.
  10. INSTALL HEIGHT CONTROL COMPRESSOR COVER 
  11. INSTALL REAR WHEEL 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2022 - ]

  12. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT SIDE COVER PROTECTOR 
  13. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH 
  14. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2022 - ]

  15. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2022 - ]

  16. CHECK CONNECTIONS OF TUBES FOR AIR LEAKAGE 
    Refer to ADJUSTMENT [09/2022 - ]
  17. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
