On-Vehicle Inspection [06/2024 - ]: Procedure

Pre-procedure1

1. Remove the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly.

   HINT: 

   Refer to REMOVAL [06/2024 - ] 

   Procedure1

2. Check the stroke of the plunger in the center of the camshaft timing valve assembly.

   Standard Stroke

   Specified Condition
   2.2 mm or higher 0.0866 in. or higher

   If the result is not as specified, replace the camshaft timing valve assembly.

   Post-procedure1

3. Install the cam timing oil control solenoid assembly.
