- PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
HINT:
When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
- POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM PRECAUTIONS (for Door Window) NOTE:
- The power window control system uses the LIN communication system and CAN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. Troubleshoot the power window control system after confirming that the communication system is functioning properly.

- The power window control system prohibits the auto up and down functions if the jam protection function or catch protection function malfunctions.
- If the power window regulator motor assembly has been replaced with a new one, initialize the power window control system.

- If the power window regulator motor assembly and front door window regulator sub-assembly have been removed and installed, or if the power window regulator motor assembly was reused when a door glass or door glass run was replaced, initialize the power window control system.

- The jam protection function and catch protection function may operate unexpectedly, even when the power window control system is normal, due to detection of a value different than the operation learned value when the door glass moving speed changes sharply under any of the following conditions:
- A power window is being opened or closed while the vehicle is driven on a rough road.
- A power window is being opened or closed while the door is being opened or closed.
- The voltage changes abruptly.
- Do not disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal while the ignition switch is ON. If the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal while the ignition switch is ON, the power window of each seat may become uninitialized.

- If the door glass is operated repeatedly and continuously, overheat protection may be activated and operation may be stopped. If overheat protection is activated, allow some time before resuming operation.
- The power window control system uses the LIN communication system and CAN communication system. Inspect the communication function by following How to Proceed with Troubleshooting. Troubleshoot the power window control system after confirming that the communication system is functioning properly.
