Removal [03/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2022 - ]

  2. REMOVE WATER GUARD PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  3. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE DASH PANEL HEAT INSULATOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

      1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
      2. Disengage the 4 wire harness clamps.
      3. Using an 8 mm socket wrench, remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket from the camshaft housing sub-assembly.
  7. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR

      1. Using SST, remove the air fuel ratio sensor from the exhaust manifold.
        • SST: 09224-00012 
        NOTE:

        If the air fuel ratio sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
