On-Vehicle Inspection [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SWITCH 
    1. Check the power steering oil pressure switch.
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Power Steering SW.
      5. Start the engine.
      6. Read the value displayed on the Techstream.

        OK

        Condition Specified Condition
        Power steering operating ON
        Power steering not operating OFF

        If the result is not as specified, check the wire harness and connector. If the wire harness and connector are normal, replace the power steering oil pressure switch.
