Removal [11/2015 - 12/2018]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2015 - 11/2017] , or refer to PRECAUTION [11/2017 - 12/2018]

  2. REMOVE BATTERY STATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the wire harness from the battery current sensor holder.

    2. Disconnect the battery state sensor assembly connector.
    3. Remove the nut and disconnect the engine wire from the battery state sensor assembly.

      NOTE:

      When disconnecting the engine wire, some systems need to be initialized after the engine wire is reconnected.

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2015 - 11/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - 12/2018]

    4. Loosen the nut and remove the battery state sensor assembly from the auxiliary battery.

    5. Disengage the 2 claws to remove the battery state sensor assembly from the battery current sensor holder.
