Installation [04/2018 -]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side) 
    1. Install the acceleration sensor assembly LH with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf 

      NOTE:
      • Avoid any impact to the acceleration sensor assembly LH.
      • Do not drop the acceleration sensor assembly LH. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

    2. Engage the clamp.
    3. Connect the connector to the acceleration sensor assembly LH.
  2. INSTALL ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) 
    1. Insert the guide to the body hole and install the acceleration sensor assembly RH with the bolt.

      Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf 

      NOTE:
      • Avoid any impact to the acceleration sensor assembly RH.
      • Do not drop the acceleration sensor assembly RH. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

    2. Connect the connector to the acceleration sensor assembly RH.
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 47

  4. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [04/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 [08/2020 -]

  5. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32 [04/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [08/2020 -]

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36

  7. INSTALL INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH (for RH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  8. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT PLATE (for RH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35

  9. CONNECT FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH (for RH Side) 
  10. INSTALL COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [04/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 [08/2020 -]

  11. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32 [04/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [08/2020 -]
