Inspection [07/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR 
    1. Voltage Inspection
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Manifold absolute pressure sensor.

        Powertrain > Engine > Data List 

        Tester Display
        Manifold absolute pressure sensor
      5. Verify that the MAP sensor output voltage (PID: Manifold absolute pressure sensor) is within the specification.

        Refer to ON-BOARD DIAGNOSTIC TEST [07/2015 - ]

        Refer to INSPECTION [07/2015 - 08/2018] Refer to INSPECTION [08/2018 - ]

        *a High
        *b Output Voltage
        *c Low
        *d Intake Air Pressure

        If not as specified, replace the MAP sensor/IAT sensor No. 2.
