Inspection [04/2018 -]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT ABSORBER CONTROL SWITCH (ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Absorber Control Switch (Electric Parking Brake Switch Assembly))

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      13 (B) - 16 (GND1) NORMAL/CUSTOM mode switch being pushed and held Below 1 Ω
      NORMAL/CUSTOM mode switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      12 (P) - 16 (GND1) SPORT S/S+ mode switch being pushed and held Below 1 Ω
      SPORT S/S+ mode switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      11 (ECU) - 16 (GND1) ECO mode switch being pushed and held Below 1 Ω
      ECO mode switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
      1. If the result is not as specified, replace the absorber control switch (electric parking brake switch assembly).
