Intake Manifold: Removal: Procedure
- RESONATOR REMOVAL NOTE
- Remove the mass air flow meter.
Refer to REMOVAL
- Remove the following parts as a single unit:
- Air hose
- Air cleaner cover
- Air cleaner element
- Air cleaner case
- Fresh-air duct
- Resonator
- Remove the resonator.
- Remove the mass air flow meter.
- FRESH-AIR DUCT REMOVAL NOTE
- VACUUM HOSE REMOVAL NOTE
- Remove the plug hole plate.
Refer to REMOVAL
- Remove the vacuum hose.
- Remove the plug hole plate.
- INTAKE MANIFOLD REMOVAL NOTE
- Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure sensor (Removal of a sensor is not performed).
Refer to REMOVAL
- Disconnect the harness clip from the intake manifold as shown in the figure.
*a Harness Clip Installation Position - - - Remove the intake manifold.
- Disconnect the manifold absolute pressure sensor (Removal of a sensor is not performed).
- REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Refer to REMOVAL
- Remove the ventilation hose.
*1 Ventilation hose *2 Air hose *3 Air cleaner cover *4 Air cleaner element *5 Resonator *6 Fresh-air duct *7 Air cleaner case *8 Throttle body *9 Vacuum hose *10 Evaporative hose *11 PCV hose *12 Intake manifold *a VEHICLE FRONT - - N*m (kgf*cm, ft.*lbf) : Specified torque • Non-reusable part - Remove the air hose.
- Remove the air cleaner cover.
- Remove the air cleaner element.
- Remove the resonator.

- Remove the fresh-air duct.
See step 2
- Remove the air cleaner case.
- Remove the throttle body.
- Remove the vacuum hose.
See step 3
- Remove the evaporative hose.
- Remove the PCV hose.
- Remove the intake manifold.
See step 4
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
