Inspection [12/2015 - 11/2017]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT PRE-COLLISION BRAKE CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Check the resistance of the pre-collision brake cancel switch.
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Pre-collision Brake Cancel Switch Assembly)
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 on (Pressed) Below 1 Ω
        off (Not pressed) 10 kΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the pre-collision brake cancel switch.
