On-Vehicle Inspection [09/2016 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Mass Air Flow Sensor.
Powertrain > Engine > Data List
Tester Display Mass Air Flow Sensor - Blow air into the mass air flow meter sub-assembly and check that the value of Mass Air Flow Sensor fluctuates.
Air OK
The value changes.
If the result is not as specified, clean the mass air flow meter sub-assembly.
