When replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), sensor, etc., turn the ignition switch off.

Rear speed sensor circuit (open or short malfunction) Refer to DTC C1407: Open or Short in Rear Speed Sensor RH Circuit; DTC C1408: Open or Short in Rear Speed Sensor LH Circuit
Rear speed sensor circuit (output malfunction) Refer to DTC C1277: Abnormal Change in Output Signal of Rear Speed Sensor RH (Test Mode DTC); DTC C1278: Abnormal Change in Output Signal of Rear Speed Sensor LH (Test Mode DTC); DTC C1415: Rear Speed Sensor RH Output Malfunction; DTC C1416: Rear Speed Sensor LH Output Malfunction
Check the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) with the Techstream. (Check skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) operation using the Active Test function.) If abnormal, check the hydraulic circuit for leaks. Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
If the symptoms still occur even after the above circuits in suspected areas have been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly). Refer to REMOVAL
ABS, BA and/or EBD does not operate efficiently Check for DTCs again and make sure that the normal system code is output. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR

Stop light switch circuit Refer to DTC C1425: Open in Stop Light Switch Circuit
Check the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) with the Techstream. (Check skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) operation using the Active Test function.) If abnormal, check the hydraulic circuit for leaks. Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
If the symptoms still occur even after the above circuits in suspected areas have been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly). Refer to REMOVAL
ABS sensor DTC check cannot be done Check for DTCs again and make sure that the normal system code is output. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR 
TC and CG terminal circuit Refer to TC and CG Terminal Circuit
If the symptoms still occur even after the above circuit in the suspected area has been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly). Refer to REMOVAL

If the symptoms still occur even after the above circuits in suspected areas have been inspected and proved to be normal, replace the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly). Refer to REMOVAL
