SPIRAL CABLE (for Hatchback): Inspection: Inspection
- INSPECT SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY NOTE:
- Do not remove the steering sensor from the spiral cable sub-assembly (w/ VSC).
- If there is a malfunction in the steering sensor, replace the spiral cable sub-assembly with steering sensor (w/ VSC).
- If there are any defects as mentioned below, replace the spiral cable sub-assembly with a new one:
- Scratches, cracks, dents or chips on the connector or the spiral cable sub-assembly.
- Inspect the spiral cable sub-assembly.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

(Spiral Cable Sub-assembly)- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.NOTE:
To avoid breaking the spiral cable sub-assembly, do not turn the spiral cable sub-assembly more than necessary.
