Rear Power Window RH does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch RH: Procedure
- INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH
- Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG → REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH
OK: Go to next step
- INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH
- Remove the rear power window regulator motor assembly RH.
- Apply battery voltage to connector terminals 1 and 2.
- Check that the motor smoothly rotates.

NOTE:Do not apply battery voltage to any terminals except terminals 1 and 2.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH - P/W RELAY)
- Disconnect the P16 rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH - REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH)
- Disconnect the P16 rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.
- Disconnect the P13 rear power window regulator motor assembly RH connector.
- Measure the resistance according the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition P16-1 (U) - P13-2 Always Below 1 Ω P16-5 (D) - P13-1 Always Below 1 Ω P16-1 (U) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher P16-5 (D) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH - POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the P16 rear power window regulator switch assembly RH connector.
- Disconnect the P9 power window regulator master switch assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition P16-2 (SU) - P9-10 Always Below 1 Ω P16-4 (SD) - P9-18 Always Below 1 Ω P16-2 (SU) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher P16-4 (SD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK → REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
