Cruise Main Indicator Light Circuit: Procedure

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Select the following menu items: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
    5. Check the cruise control indicator light by performing the Active Test.
      COMBINATION METER

      Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note
      Indicator. Lamp Cruise Cruise control indicator light Cruise control indicator light ON / OFF -

      OK

      The cruise control indicator light goes on or off.

    NG → See step   3 

    OK → See step   2 

  2. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 
  3. REPLACE METER CIRCUIT PLATE NO. 3. Refer to  REMOVAL
