Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Removal: Removal

  1. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL 

  2. REMOVE VAPOR PRESSURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Remove the tube joint clip, and pull out the vapor pressure sensor assembly.

      *1 Vapor Pressure Sensor Assembly
      *2 O-ring
      *3 Fuel Hose Joint
      *4 Tube Joint Clip
      Pull
      NOTE:
      • Before this operation, check that there is no dirt or other foreign objects around the vapor pressure sensor assembly. Clean the vapor pressure sensor assembly if necessary.
      • It is necessary to prevent mud or dirt from entering the vapor pressure sensor assembly. If mud or dirt gets in the vapor pressure sensor assembly, the O-ring may not seal properly.
      • Do not use any tools for this operation.
      • If the fuel hose joint and vapor pressure sensor are stuck, carefully try wiggling or pushing and pulling on the vapor pressure sensor to release it. Pull the sensor off the fuel hose joint carefully.
