Intake Manifold: Removal: Removal

REMOVE THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY
1. Remove the throttle body assembly. Refer to REMOVAL .
REMOVE EGR PIPE ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 9
REMOVE MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
REMOVE VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 5
REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD
1. Disconnect the 3 connectors and 2 wire harness clamps.

2. Remove the engine oil level dipstick.
3. Disconnect the wire harness clamp, and then remove the 2 bolts and engine oil level dipstick guide sub-assembly.

4. Remove the O-ring from the engine oil level dipstick guide sub-assembly.
5. Disconnect the fuel vapor feed hose and ventilation hose.

6. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and intake manifold.

7. Remove the No. 1 intake manifold to head gasket.
REPLACE STUD BOLT
HINT:

If a stud bolt is deformed or the threads are damaged, replace it.
1. Using an E6 "TORX" wrench, replace the 2 stud bolts.

  Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf)
