Cruise SET Indicator Light Circuit: Procedure

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE CONTROL SET INDICATOR LIGHT)
- Select the item below in the Active Test, and then check that the cruise control SET indicator light illuminates. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST
.COMBINATION METER
Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note Indicat. SET Cruise control SET indicator light ON/OFF Confirm that the vehicle is stopped with the engine idling. OK
Cruise control SET indicator light turns on/off.
NG → See step 4
OK: Go to next step
- Select the item below in the Active Test, and then check that the cruise control SET indicator light illuminates. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH)
- Use the Data List to check if the cruise control switch is functioning properly. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST
.RADAR CRUISE
Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note SET/COAST Switch -SET switch signal / OFF or ON OFF:-SET switch off
ON:-SET switch on- OK
On screen, item changes between ON and OFF according to above chart.

- Use the Data List to check if the cruise control switch is functioning properly. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST

- GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM. Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
- REPLACE ECM. Refer to REMOVAL
