Customize Parameters

  1. CUSTOMIZE INTUITIVE PARKING ASSIST SYSTEM 

    HINT: 

    The following items can be customized.

    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Customizing with the Techstream
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Intuitive P/A / Warning, Sensor or Display.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Rr Sensor Onset Range Wide Set the buzzer activation range for the rear center sensors. Narrow or Wide
        • Narrow: 650 mm (25.59 in.)
        • Wide: 1500 mm (59.06 in.)
        • Clearance warning ECU*1
        • Parking assist ECU*2
        Fr Sensor Onset Range Wide Set the buzzer activation range for the front center sensors. Narrow or Wide
        • Narrow: 500 mm (19.69 in.)
        • Wide: 1000 mm (39.37 in.)
        • Clearance warning ECU*1
        • Parking assist ECU*2
        Keep Sense Buzzer Avail Make the buzzer sound when the distance between the vehicle and obstacle does not change for more than 3 seconds. Not Avail or Avail
        • Not Avail: Not Available
        • Avail: Available

        Fr & Rr Buzzer Volume M2 Change the buzzer volume setting. L, M1, M2, M3 or H
        • L: Low volume
        • M1: Medium low volume
        • M2: Medium volume
        • M3: Medium high volume
        • H: High volume
        • Clearance warning ECU*1
        • Parking assist ECU*2
        Sensor Condition N Avail Make the front sensors available when the shift lever is in N. Not Avail or Avail
        • Not Avail: Not Available
        • Avail: Available

        Reverse Range Front Sensor Fcrn Change the operation setting for the front sensors when the shift lever is in R. F, Fcrn or F Stop
        • F: Front sensors are available
        • Fcrn: Front corner sensors are available
        • F Stop: Front sensors are not available
        • Clearance warning ECU*1
        • Parking assist ECU*2
        Non P/R Range Rear Sensor R Stop Change the operation setting for the rear sensors when the shift lever is in any position except P or R. R, Rcrn or R Stop
        • R: All rear sensors are available
        • Rcrn: Rear corner sensors are available
        • R Stop: All rear sensors are not available
        • Clearance warning ECU*1
        • Parking assist ECU*2
        Display Mode All Change the display mode setting (when the intuitive parking assist system is normal). All or Undisp

        • *2: w/ Side Monitor System
    2. Customizing with Multi-display
      1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
      2. Enter the following menus: Setup / Vehicle / LEXUS Park Assist.
      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
        Display Default Content Setting Relevant
        Alert volume 3 Change the buzzer volume setting. 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5
        • 1: Low volume
        • 2: Medium low volume
        • 3: Medium volume
        • 4: Medium high volume
        • 5: High volume
        • Clearance warning ECU*1
        • Parking assist ECU*2
        Display On Change the display mode setting (when the intuitive parking assist system is normal). On or Off
        • Clearance warning ECU*1
        • Parking assist ECU*2
        Distance Wide Set the buzzer activation range for the front center sensors. Narrow or Wide
        • Narrow: 500 mm (19.69 in.)
        • Wide: 1000 mm (39.37 in.)
