Lin Communication System: Precaution: Precaution

  1. PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY CABLE 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the battery negative (-) terminal, initialize the following systems after the terminal is reconnected:

    System Name See Procedure
    Power Back Door System Refer to INITIALIZATION
  2. PRECAUTIONS WHEN USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. When using Techstream with the ignition switch off to troubleshoot: Connect Techstream to the vehicle, and turn the courtesy light switch on and off at 1.5-second intervals until communication between the tester and vehicle begins.
    2. After all DTCs are cleared, check if the trouble occurs again 6 seconds after the ignition switch on (IG).
  3. IGNITION SWITCH EXPRESSIONS 

    HINT: 

    The type of ignition switch used on this model differs according to the specifications of the vehicle. The expressions listed in the table below are used in this section.
