DTC P0617: Starter Relay Circuit High: Procedure
- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (STARTER SIGNAL)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Data List / Starter Signal.
- Check the value displayed on the Techstream when the ignition switch is turned to ON and START.

- Disconnect the Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch connector.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

- Disconnect the Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch connector.
- Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.

- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
- Disconnect the Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Replace the park/neutral position switch assembly.

- Remove the ignition switch assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 1 (ST1) - 2 (AM1) Ignition switch ON 10 kΩ or higher 1 (ST1) - 7 (AM2) Ignition switch ON 10 kΩ or higher
