DTC U0073 Control Module Communication Bus OFF: Description

The skid control ECU receives the signal sent from the ECM via the CAN communication system.

When DTCs indicating a CAN communication system malfunction are output, repair the CAN communication system before repairing each corresponding sensor.

DTC DETECTION CONDITION

DTC Code DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
U0073 When either of the following is detected:
  1. With terminal IG1 10 V or more, data output from skid control ECU is completed, and output continues for 5 seconds or more.
  2. With terminal IG1 10 V or more, bus off condition occurs once or more within 0.1 seconds, and this state continues 10 times or more.
